Gainesville Pokemon City

I had a very weird urge to make my home town in 8-bit GBC graphics, like in an old Pokemon game. I did so, and am incredibly proud of it. obviously, as in the Pokemon Overworld, this city is not a perfect replica. it is clearly missing hundreds of buildings, and things aren't all in exactly the correct place. all in all, I am proud of it. I think this looks as perfect as can be if my hometown were to be transported to a Pokemon game. and I have never done something in graphic design this well. the whole thing took me about 6 or 7 hours.
